With joy and gladness in my heart, I Chief Pius Ovbije (POC), former commissioner DESOPADEC, and former Delta Central Coordinator of Delta Political Vanguard (DPV) hereby tender my resignation letter of my membership from PDP with effect from today 7 Jan, 2023.

The reason behind my resignation is the failure of promise of PROSPERITY TO ALL DELTANS that turned only to a particular family prosperity. And with the introduction of vexatious slogan and practice of status quo remains” that is unknown to democratic practice and the failure of monkey work monkey chop promises.

Contacted by Politicsgovernance.com, POC who confirmed his resignation from the PDP said, The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party is my presidential candidate, while the governorship candidate of the APC in Delta is my candidate.

“I am in APC but not for their presidential candidate, i want a better Nigeria just the way i want a better Delta.”
